This issue of the Delta Oghara Medical Journal (DOMJ) presents five original research articles addressing important clinical and public health questions across Nigeria. The issue covers childhood malnutrition and its associated factors in Delta State; the economic burden and patterns of noncommunicable diseases in rural Edo State; knowledge, awareness, and risk of Lassa fever among residents of Esan West; the prevalence of preauricular sinus among Annang and Ibibio populations; and the diagnostic utility of NT-proBNP across heart failure phenotypes in a Sub-Saharan African population.
DOMJ is the official publication of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), DELSUTH Chapter, and is committed to the dissemination of peer-reviewed, open-access medical research relevant to Nigeria, Africa, and the wider global medical community.
